Reno Omokri, a senior adviser to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, warned the opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Sunday to be cautious when zoning its presidential ticket in order to win the 2023 election.
Mr. Omokri claimed that in order for the PDP to win the coveted seat in 2023, a presidential candidate from the north must run.
According to Nsmnews, Mr. Tinubu is in the race for the APC presidential nomination in 2023.
However, the socio-political activist said in a series of tweets that President Muhammadu Buhari would deliver the North for any Southern contender in the election since he commanded the region's massive 12 million block votes.
