Replays of the English FA Cup 3rd Round went down on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, with some teams finally securing qualification to the next round while others have ultimately bowed out of the tournament.

*Wolverhampton Wanderers 3-2 Brentford*

Wolverhampton Wanderers took on Brentford and it was a heated clash between the two teams with 4 goals being witnessed in regulation time.

Nathan Collins took the Bees ahead in the 13th minute, while Nelson Semedo equalized for Wolves in the 36th minute.

In the second half of hostilities, Neal Maupay brought Brentford back in front, however, with 18 minutes of regulation time left to play Nathan Fraser leveled the scoreline, with the two teams ending 90 minutes on parity.

The additional time basically showed a Wolverhampton Wanderers side who were determined and courageous, as Matheus Cunha netted for Wolves 5 minutes into added time of the first half of extra time.

*Birmingham City 2-1 Hull City*

This was a crunch game decided in the dying embers, as Koji Miyoshi scored a stoppage-time winner to send Birmingham City into the FA Cup 4th Round.

Meanwhile, before the goal in additional time, Jason Eyenga-Lokilo started the scoring in the game, taking Hull City ahead in the 12th minute.

Jay Stanfield scored the equalizer for Birmingham City in the 66th minute, before they completed the comeback deep into additional time of the second 45 through Koji Miyoshi.

*Bolton Wanderers 1-2 Luton Town*

Dion Charles scored the opener in the game in the 11th minute, ascending the Wanderers into the lead, however, Luton Town also clawed their way back to win the game.

Tahith Chong brought the Hatters back 4 minutes later before Chiedozie Ogbene completed the comeback for the away side.

*Bristol City 1-0 West Ham United*

This certainly was the most shocking outcome of the game, with Bristol City stunning West Ham United at Ashton Gate.

Having played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg, it was assumed by many that the Hammers would go to Ashton Gate to secure a comfortable victory.

However, it was a highly combative game involving both sides, but an early goal decided the affair, with Tommy Conway scoring in the 3rd minute to put Bristol City ahead.

*Eastleigh FC 1-3 Newport County*

Newport County picked up a comfortable victory over Eastleigh FC, with goals from Aaron Wildig, James Clarke, and Will Evans handing them the victory.

The home side got their only goal of the encounter in the 48th minute, through Paul McCallum, but it definitely proved inconsequential at the end of 90 minutes.
