Tottenham have returned to winning ways with a second consecutive Premier League victory after their five-match winless streak.

The Lilywhites comfortably dispatched Steve Cooper's Nottingham Forest at City ground to secure their 10th Premier League win this season.

The North London outfit started the game on a good footing, dominating proceedings, and looking set to take a deserved lead but had to wait till the first half stoppage-time to beat the resilient effort of the Tricky Trees.

After series of futile attempts to convert glaring chances, Kulusevski finally gave the away side a lift with a great assist for Richarlison.

Pressing down the right flank, Kulusevski picks up a racing Richarlison with a perfect cross inside the box.

Coming on against Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Matt Turner, Richarlison beat the former Arsenal goalie and nodded home Tottenham's first goal. The goal was enough to send Tottenham into the break with a 1-0 win.

Despite taking the lead, Tottenham continued dominating the game in the second 45.

Five minutes after the hour mark, Kulusevski came up clutch again for the away side scoring to double the lead.

Nottingham Forest did little to mount a response as Tottenham Hotspur raced to a comfortable 2-0 win after the final whistle.

While the Lilywhites picked all three points at City, Steve Cooper will be coming under intense pressure following the club's winless streak.

Cooper, who led Nottingham Forest from Championship to the English elite division, and kept them there, has been the fans' favourite despite recent dismal showing by the club.

However, sources close to the club have revealed he will likely be sacked soon by the club's owner Evangelos Marinakis if the club's dwindling fortunes continues.

Tottenham have now move level on points with Manchester City on the table with 33 points but have played a game more while Nottingham Forest are 16th on the table with 14 points.
