Sanwo-Olu reveals Lagos’ first set of electric buses
The governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revealed the first set of electric buses in Lagos.
He has announced the arrival of these first set of buses. This is for the mass transit scheme in Lagos state.
He announced this on his official twitter handle yesterday, Sunday April 30.
He shared his excitement to announce this news. He said this is a part of the Mass transit master plan in Lago to modernize every sector of Lagos.
He appreciated the partnership they have with Oando PLC. He said thanks to this partnership, the people of Lagos can have a better public transport system.
He revealed that the bus has the capacity to travel at 280km and this is at full charge.
He said that these buses are a game changer.
He also revealed that these buses will reduce carbon emissions and they will also increase efficiency.
He said that the people can now enjoy cost efficient transportation and say goodbye to high fuel costs.
