Singer Teni fires back at those criticizing her for prostrating for IBD Dende
Singer Teniola Apata fires back at those criticizing her for prostrating for IBD Dende in a viral clip. Teni laid flat on the floor to greet IBD inside an airplane and internet users felt it was all shades of wrong. They chastised the Afrobeats singer for doing such as thing, especially to someone who has been accused of smuggling and other criminal activities.
In defense of her actions, Teni said she wasn't aware of IBD Dende's criminal actions. She only showed him respect because he helped her sometime in 2014 before she became a star. That was her way of showing him the respect he deserves. After commentators continued to justify Teni's actions, she fired back at them by asking about their contributions to society ever since they came of age.
She outlined the number of students she is currently sponsoring at different academic levels by saying, "I GOT 20 KIDS IN SCHOOL, 10 PRIVATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS, 3 IN BABCOCK, 3 IN C.U, 3 IN REEDEMERS AND 1 IN AUN, 10 KIDS IN PRIVATE SECONDARY SCHOOLS, 3 IN THE EAST, 3 IN LAGOS AND 1 IN JOS. ALL IN BOARDING SCHOOL. I PAY AND TAKE CARE OF THEIR FEES, AND IM ACTIVE IN THEIR LIVES. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ???? AS A CITIZEN OF THIS COUNTRY."
