Some leaders take their children on State visits to educate them, President Tinubu's aide O'Tega defends him

O'Tega Ogra, the senior special assistant to President Tinubu on News media came out to defend the President after the masses fumed over the inclusion of two of Tinubu's sons among the list of delegations to Qatar. Many accused President Tinubu of paying lip service after assuring the citizens that his administration would cut down costs. After reading the complaints, O'Tega clarified that the inclusion of Seyi and Yinka Tinubu doesn't mean the President is turning his administration into a family affair. Rather, he is simply educating his children about different cultures, world affairs, and how to maintain a semblance of family life.

President Tinubu is set to visit Qatar on a state visit scheduled for March 2nd and 3rd and will be accompanied by 38 others including his sons. The delegation was split into two batches with the first batch containing 16 people and the second batch consisting of 22 people.

The first set of delegations to accompany the President on the 2nd of March includes, "Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Zulum, Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun, Minister of Solid Minerals, Dele Alake, National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, and the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, Mele Kyari."

While the second batch comprises both Tinubu's sons and 20 others some of which include, "Seyi Tinubu, Yinka Tinubu, PPS, Hakeem Muti-Okunola, SCOP, Ambassador Victor Adekunle Adeleke, PP, Dr. Ade Tinubu, and SSAP (Household), Subair Oluwatoyin.
