Suspect who duped a man of N9m arraigned in court.
A man who was found guilty of fraud has been arraigned in a court.
It was the Lagos State Police Command who arranged him yesterday, Monday.
He has been identified as Nnanna Nwancho and he had duped another person named Emeka Ifekume of a sum of N9million.
He was arraigned before Magistrate Patrick Nwaka on 3 counts bordering on stealing.
This man swindled the victim of N9m under pretense to be a car dealer selling cars.
He pretended to sell a Toyota Prado Jeep and as soon as the money was sent to Jim, he stopped picking the calls.
He committed this crime on the 30th of March, 2023.
This man pleaded not guilty to these charges and the magistrate then granted him bail in the sum of N1m. This is along two responsible sureties in like sum.
The case has been adjourned till July 13, 2023.
