Suspected Gunmen attack 2 communities and kill 3 people in Imo state

Some Suspected Gunmen have killed three people in Imo state recently. They launched launched attack on 2 communities and killed these 3 people.
This incident occurred in two communities which are known as Orogwe and Irete. Both communities that were affected are located in Owerri west local government area in Imo state.

A witness was the one who revealed this information to some newsmen in Owerri. He revealed that these gunmen launched an attack in 2 separate locations.

He revealed that the gunmen had attacked a man known popularly as Jojo who was a former Enugu Psychiatrist director. They had attacked and snatched his vehicle from him.

They believe this attack is linked to the sit at home order given earlier this month.

The witness revealed how hard it is for the residents of this community to sleep with 2 eyes closed as they don't feel safe after this incident.
He says the gunmen killed 2 people at Orogwe and killed another one at Ndegwu.

Henry Okoye who is the Imo state Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO) when contacted said he hasn't received an official report.
More details to come later.

This isn't the first time some gunmen would launch an attack on communities and kill some residents of the community. It's a sad incident indeed
