Nigerian singer and controversial personality Seun Kuti has stated that there is no scientific evidence that proves that smoking weed is dangerous to one's health.
In a recent video, Seun Kuti said Nigerians are too scared to fight against bad governance but they are not scared to drink alcohol which can damage their kidneys or liver. He stated that most people think he's delusional for giving such advice when he smokes marijuana. He said smoking marijuana isn't deadly and there's no scientific evidence that proves that smoking weed is dangerous to human health.
Seun Kuti said Africans used to have the best marijuana in the world. In those days, he said marijuana opened certain portals that made it possible for men to converse with their ancestors. He said that type of weed can no longer be found in Nigeria. He said the best weed can be found in Western countries and even Germany, France and other countries are going to legalize marijuana very soon.
Kuti expressed that the country Canada most Nigerians are migrating to has legalized marijuana. He said even the holy land Israel which most Nigerians revere has legalized marijuana. He stated that none of the Nigerian pastors who go for pilgrimage in Jerusalem has preached about those smoking weed over there. He said Israel is one of those countries conducting research on medical marijuana.
He mocked Christians saying they are fond of bragging about their religion and the holy scriptures. He said, "After, you people will say you are Christians and you're following the holy scriptures. You'll be praying, 'remove us from Egypt, take us back to Israel."
