Tinubu Returns to Nigeria in preparation for Inauguration
The President-elect, Bola Tinubu, has returned back to Nigeria from Europe. This is in preparation for the inauguration and Swearing-in ceremony which is next week.
The inauguration is set to take place on the 19th of May at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
Recall Tinubu had traveled to Europe on the 10th of May, 2023.
Tinubu was scheduled to return shortly before his inauguration. Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be sworn in as the 16th President of Nigeria.
Preparations are in programs regarding the inauguration and security measures have been put in place for the event.
A statement which had been released by the President-elect office had revealed the trip was to finalize some plans regarding the transition into office.
He had met with Rabiu Kwankwaso in Paris. This man is the leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).
