Trans-Nationwide Express Plc Opens Rights Issue Trading on NGX

Date: November 3, 2025

The Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX) has officially announced the activation of a trading code for Trans-Nationwide Express Plc’s Rights Issue, marking the commencement of trading in the company’s newly offered shares.

According to the NGX, the Rights Issue — which opened for trading on Monday, November 3, 2025 — involves the offer of 498,150,077 ordinary shares at ₦1.05 per share. Each share carries a nominal value of 50 Kobo, and the offer is being made on the basis of one new ordinary share for every one existing share held as of the close of business on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

This means that shareholders who were on the company’s register as of that qualification date are entitled to purchase one new share for each share they already own .

The Rights Issue is expected to provide Trans-Nationwide Express Plc with fresh capital to strengthen its operations, improve logistics capacity, and enhance competitiveness within Nigeria’s growing courier and delivery sector ✈️.

Trading in the rights will remain open until Thursday, December 11, 2025, giving eligible shareholders ample time to take advantage of the offer and trade their rights on the Exchange.

The securities will trade under the name “TRANS-NATIONWIDE EXPRESS PLC 2025 RIGHTS”, with a dedicated symbol code (RR25TRANEX) and an International Securities Identification Number (ISIN): NGRR25TRANE5.

The Registrar for the Rights Issue is CardinalStone Registrars Limited, which will oversee the management of shareholder subscriptions and allocations throughout the offer period.

This notification was issued by Godstime Iwenekhai, Head of the Issuer Regulation Department at the Nigerian Exchange Limited, as part of ongoing updates to keep investors and trading license holders informed.

The Rights Issue represents an important capital-raising move for Trans-Nationwide Express Plc as it seeks to position itself for future growth and operational expansion in Nigeria’s competitive logistics and courier market .
