The new Instagram App, Threads was released yesterday and it was widely accepted by social media enthusiasts across the world. According to research, it received more positive reviews and most people already consider it as the best alternative to Elon Musk's Twitter which has been guarded by numerous policies lately.

Some hours after Threads launched, Twitter released an official statement addressing Meta's founder, Mark Zuckerberg, revealing its plans to sue Meta for stealing its data and trade secrets.

Recall that several companies laid off their staff at the beginning of the year and Twitter was among these companies. It was reported that Meta employed Twitter former employees and worked with them to create a replica of the microblogging platform Twitter and create an unhealthy competition between both of them.

Twitter has advised Meta to stop crawling or scraping Twitter's followers or following data and should also desist from using all trade secrets and confidential information that belongs to Twitter.
