UCH hospital staff refuses to admit a sick baby over mother's refusal to pull off her niqab

The mother was said to have been wearing a Niqab, which is a covering for Muslim women. The staff mandated the mother to pull off her Niqab if she wanted them to treat her baby. However, the person recording the nurses said the mother wasn't informed of the rule before the necessary payments were made. So why wait until she paid before informing her about the rules?
Netizens in the comment section blamed the mother of the child for being strong-headed over the instructions given by the hospital staff. Many claimed that those rules were created for the children's ICU unit due to their low immunity. No outside clothing is allowed in that unit of the hospital because the babies are still very fragile and at risk of contracting infection.
