Uncle reveals how his nephew, who is a teenager killed his father
A young teenage has been arrested for allegedly killing his father. This boy has been identified as Ismail Adeagbo. He is presently in police custody.
This incident occurred on the 21st of April, 2023 in Oyo State.
It was this Boy's uncle, Mr Taofeek Adeagbo who reported the incident to the police. He revealed he took no part in the incident.
It was his own brother who was killed. The culprit is his nephew.
He revealed he is the younger brother of the deceased. He mentioned that that morning, the boy came to his house to tell him but he didn't meet him at home.
He then told his wife that his father had died.
The uncle said he was called on phone and he went there.
He explained that after looking at the body, he felt it wasn't ordinary.
They then began investigations into the matter and asked the wife and daughter questions.
They kept asking where this boy, Ismail was but he wasn't home.
The uncle was asking for this boy because he had once stabbed his father.
He said he had stabbed him 6 months prior to this incident.
He then told the police to investigate the boy. The boy was hidden under his bed throughout.
The boy's phone was with the mother who said she didn't know where he was.
The police then arrested the mother and put the house on lockdown and watched from the vigilantes.
The next day, the police went to the house to take his photos for the investigation and saw the boy inside the house.
They questioned him and he confessed to the crime. He also confessed that he told his mother what he did. The mother has been arrested for concealing the crime which the boy has told her.
The police have revealed that they will charge both the mother and the son.
Both are in custody at Iyaganku Police Station, in Ibadan.
During the interrogation the boy revealed that his father didn't like him and his mother. He said the father was always cursing them.
Ismail is the 4th child but the first son of his father.
