One of the students protesting against the outrageous increment in UNILAG school fees has gotten a sponsorship from the CEO of Malo Wallet. She was the lady who cried in front of the camera and lamented on how she could not afford to pay the school fees.

The University of Lagos increased the institution's school fees from 16,000 to N100,250 for non-science students, N140,250 for science students, and as high as N190,000 for medical students. This does not include the accommodation and utility fees.

Students of the institution could no longer keep mute as resumption was fast approaching. They went out in numbers to protest and called for the school authorities to slash the school fees to prevent students from dropping out.
