University of Ibadan staff ordered to work 3 days a week

The University of Ibadan has directed their Staff to work 3 days a week in a recent development. This new development is helping to reduce the effects of the subsidy removal in the country.
They made these new measures to cushion the Hardship being faced by their staff with regards to the removal of fuel subsidy.
It was the University's Registrar and Secretary to Council who revealed this recently. They shared this in a statement titled 'Temporary Work Schedule Adjustment.'
They revealed that The management of the University of Ibadan, was able to come up with this new measure and adjusted its schedule. They have directed their staff members to work three days a week.
The staff are now expected to work on site for 3 days in rotation per week. This took effect at the beginning of this week and is now in motion. The school session in the University commences next Monday, the 21st of August.
They revealed that the removal of the fuel subsidy by the FG brought about huge economic difficulties on people. Which is why the University took this action.
They then added that those on essential duties are exempted from this new adjustment. The management will be reviewing this method as time goes on.
