The Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Kashim Shettima, traveled to Borno State for yesterday's Eid-l-Adha festival. This was after Shettima's speech at National Eid praying ground in Abuja.

When he arrived in Borno, Shettima paid a courtesy visit to the palace of Abubakar Garbai El-Amin SI-Kanemi, the Shehu of Borno.

In his discussions with the Shehu, he said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration would address infrastructural deficits in the country.

The VP also mentioned that all the infrastructural challenges in the country would be addressed including the roads of Gamboru Ngala, Dikwa, and, Damboa.

Shettima, who was accompanied by the Governor of Borno state, Babagana Umara Zulum, to visit the Shehu of Borno, further assured the Shehu that the administration will overcome all the current challenges it is facing.

Shehu of Borno, Abubakar Ibn Garbai El-Kanemi, in return, expressed his appreciation for the honorable visit.

He congratulated Shettima on his accomplishments of being Nigeria's vice president, and pledged the support of the people of Borno state to the present Tinubu-Shettima administration.
