While speaking to The Beat FM Lagos, Johnny Drille said if it were other A-list artists like Wizkid, Davido or Burna Boy that achieved what Rema had achieved in his career, they'd be screaming their lungs out and giving them accolades. He said Rema has tremendous achievements as a young person in the music industry which people don't give him credit for.

Speaking of Rema's song "Calm Down", Johnny Drille said Rema is the first Nigerian artist to have a song on the Billboard Top 10 charts for almost a year. Throughout the year, he has performed in various countries, selling out shows all over the world.

He said, "Rema, for his age, has done so many incredible things that I don't think we give him enough credit for. He's had one of the biggest songs in the world with Calm Down which has been on the Billboard Top 10 for almost a year. That has never been done in the history of African music."

Johnny Drille also mentioned Mavins first lady Ayra Starr as one of the young artists making the continent proud.

He said he has worked with Ayra Starr since she started singing. He has been in charge of mixing and mastering her songs.

He added, "She's an incredible artist. She's amazing to work with. I'm just blessed to have this team of people in the Mavins team. They're just like family. You can tell that these people are passionate about the artist and the music. They want to see everyone succeed."
