Simon Ekpa who is the leader of the Biafra Republic Government in Exile recntly disclosed his plans to host a 3 days conference in Finland to achieve the Biafra referendum. He planned to host Igbos from all over the world and this was few days ago. The Conference was held in Helsinki, Finland.
During the conference, he had accused the Nigerian government of injustice and marginalization against the Igbos which had spanned for decades. He also stated that there will be no going back on the actualization of the Biafra referendum. This was on Friday, October 20th 2023. According to him self-preservation came as a result of the marginalization of Igbos. He claims Nigeria had not yet adressed the casue of Biafra agitation. According to him, Biafra should be allowed independence.
