Wizkid changed the methods of recording songs, Fuji musician Remi Aluko says
Fuji musician Remi Aluko was invited to speak on a podcast and he mentioned how Wizkid revolutionized the music industry. He said that singles used to be between 4 to 5 minutes long but when Wizkid started recording, his was usually between 1-2 minutes. So anyone who enjoyed the music would have to replay it as many times as they wish to, and this has increased the replay value of songs.
Seeing the new style, everybody else followed suit they have kept up with the style up till today. He said, " Wizkid did something in Nigeria music industry till today that I pick on. You know then, if we want to have maybe one single we'll have like 5 minutes, maybe 4 minutes some. Go and check it now Wizkid was the one that changed the method of recording music like you don't need to waste music. Later on when he picked up, he changed his way. He'll singer chorus that brings like 16 bar. After that 16 bar, he'll come to the chorus. If you love the music, okay it again."
