Woman caught with laminated INEC materials
An elderly woman was caught with over 500 copies of laminated INEC materials in Lagos.
The Lagos State Police command confirmed this news. They have arrested the 53 year old woman who was found in possession of these materials.
Mr SP Benjamin Hundeyin who is the spokesperson of the Lagos state police command was the one who confirmed this news.
He mentioned that the woman was arrested at Candos Road, Baruwa (iyana ipaja) in Lagos state.
This incident happened around 4pm on Thursday.
The woman was caught in a business centre where he had been making photocopies.
They found 550 INEC materials in her possession and then she was arrested.
They were also able to recover the laptop she had been using.
When questioned, she was unable to give a clear explanation of how she got those materials.
According to him, the case has been transferred for further investigation. They have transferred the case to state CID Yaba.
